Every home game for the Huskies at the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth quarter, they introduce a former player as a Husky Legend. I was honored in December 2009 as the Husky Legend during the Cal game. Walking onto the field 13 years later now as a husband, father of three children and with an amazing six year career with the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers reminded of the rich tradition and pride that exists at the University of Washington. It brought back memories or blood, sweat, tears and life lessons. Life lessons that guide me still today in every situations wheather it be positive or negative. It was an honor to represent University of Washington from 1992 to 1996 and I am thankful for the lessons that I have learned through athletics to pass down to my children.
